Join us for a conversation hosted by the Young Friends of the KC Public Library for their series "Women Crush Wednesday” highlighting the amazing women featured within the National WWI Museum and Memorial collections.

Exhibitions Manager and Registrar Stacie Petersen will introduce some of the women, including Alta May Andrews, who served as a nurse with the American Red Cross and the U.S. Army Nurse Corps during WWI. Stacie will also discuss her background in museum science and her work within the museum collection. Barbara Varanka of the Young Friends of the KC Public Library will moderate the discussion.
